Searching Google&tm; Local
You can use Garmin Online&tm; to find information using the Google Local search engine. Google Local provides up-to-date information about nearby businesses, attractions, services, and other points of interest.
You must be connected to Garmin Online in order to search with Google Local. See Understanding Garmin Online for more information.
To search Google Local:
1. Select Where To? > Google Local. A list of categories appears.
2. You can search by category, or manually type a search term. To search by category, select a category, and then select a subcategory. To type a search term, select Spell Name, enter your search term, and select Done. A list of matches for your subcategory or search term appears.
3. Select the item you want. If you typed a search term, the spell-check feature of Google Local may suggest an alternative search term as the first item in the list. To accept this suggestion, select Did you mean <search term>?, which starts a new search with the suggested term.
4. Select Go! to create a route, or select Options to view other options. See Using "Where To?" for more information.
